Bodegas Martinez Lacuesta Rioja Blanco Barrica
Barrel fermented and lees aged. A fresh, well-rounded White Rioja.
Pale greenish yellow in colour, this White Rioja has beautiful crisp lemon and floral notes over a lovely toasty oak. Made with 100% Viura grapes, this wine has been allowed to rest on the lees and has been fermented in both French and American oak. As a result of this, the wine develops a softer but still fruity profile, offering an accessible and interesting drinking experience.
The Rioja Blanco Fermentado en Barrica from the amazing Bodegas Martinez Lacuesta. The wines of Bodegas Martínez Lacuesta represent in their essence everything that Haro and its vineyards mean to Rioja wine. Haro is the birthplace of Rioja, the place where its universal history began to be written.
With vineyards just 20 kilometres around, with viticulture that is sensitive to the environment and respects traditional knowledge, nature can express through wine everything it has experienced in the last hundred years. Their wines also convey a centuries-old philosophy that is constantly evolving. We maintain both techniques inherited from our ancestors and new processes more in line with current tastes.
