Cantina Di Gambellara V Prosecco

A delicious Prosecco made by the first cooperative winery in the region.

This 100% Glera grape Prosecco from Veneto. Light straw yellow in colour, the nose has notes of pear and floral hints. It is fresh and soft in the mouth and makes an excellent aperitif. It goes well with delicate dishes such as fish and shellfish.

Wine created from an accurate selection of Glera grapes grown in hilly vineyards with a high temperature range between night and day. First fermentation occurs in steel autoclaves under controlled temperature. Second fermentation at low temperatures in steel autoclaves with selected yeasts, according to the Charmat Method

Cantina di Gambellara is the first cooperative winery in the province of Vicenza, established in 1947 on the ashes of the previous cooperative winery called Enopolio di Gambellara, active since 1920.

It’s located in the eponymous village of Gambellara on the border with Verona, in the final stretch of the Lessini Mountains at around 250-500 metres above sea level. The gentle landscape is covered with vines and is characterised by a lush valley with several streams and an extinct volcano with black basalts.
