Casa de Vilacetinho Vinho Verde
A fun, light and spritzy Vinho Verde.
A light, crisp, ever-so-slightly spritzy Vinho Verde made from a blend of Avesso, Arinto and Loureiro grapes. An uncomplicated and highly enjoyable wine with notes of zesty lime, melon and peach.
Casa de Vilacetinho is located in Alpendurada overlooking the River Douro and covers an estate with 30 hectares of vineyards which develop in a continuous and ordered manner in soils of granitic nature, with a predominantly south-facing exposure, making it one of the most prosperous terroirs of the region set to the production of ‘Vinho Verde’.
All the grapes were picked by hand and taken to the winery in small boxes. They are dropped onto a sorting belt that carries them to a de-stemmer. The grapes will then be pressed in pneumatic press, and all these grape varietals are then placed together in stainless steel for alcohol fermentation at 14-16ºc. After stabilising for three months, the decision of what the blend of this wine will be is left right till the very end.
