Domaine Belleville Santenay Rouge

Charming and elegant Burgundy Pinot Noir

Vibrant and sophisticated. Hints of red cherry, raspberry, and blackcurrant, joined by a touch of spice. On the palate, there is a fruity profile with mineral notes, and supple nuances of cherry, crushed raspberry, and plum. Following this is subtle notes of toasted wood and caramel.  Finishing up with a long, lingering finish.

Domaine Belleville was created in Rully at the beginning of the 20th Century, operating 18 hectares of vineyards located from Gevrey Chambertin to Mercurey, and since the end of 2017 have since converted to organic. Acquired in 2017 by Denise Dupre, Mark Nunelly, and its director, Jean-Luc Vitoux, who are also owners of Champagne Leclerc Briant, which was acquired in 2012, Les Parcellaires de Saulx, and Château de la Commaraine (Pommard 1er cru monopole). Its wines are made in the strict respect of its parcels, where each wine comes from a single plot of the estate to highlight the diversity of the terroirs.

Quality driven and elegant. This Pinot Noir makes for an excellent choice for any lovers of Pinot. Perfect as an aperitif or as a pair with duck, Asian dishes or lighter red meats.
