Fontodi Chianti Classico

The Fontodi estate is found in Panzano in the heart of the Chianti Classico region. Farmed organically by the Manetti family, the vineyards are 400m above sea level and enjoy an abundance of sunshine. Although this may be deemed a little high for Chianti Classico, the vines make the most of the sunshine they're given, balancing acidity in the grapes whilst retaining all those fresh fruit aromas.

100% Sangiovese, it has sensual scents of cherries and cranberries with leathery undertones. These ramp up on the palate, giving a wine with great intensity, richness, and a little spice.
