Jean Marc Boillot Montagny 1er Cru

Jean-Marc Boillot makes consistently stylish, and forward drinking wines from their sizeable holdings across Burgundy. This is a brilliant Montagny that tends to fly under the radar a little, though it shouldn’t, considering it has an air of Côte de Beaune about it.
The 2018 is rich and buttery, with plenty of citrus and stone fruit. Brioche and hazelnut notes are lifted with refreshing acidity, fine minerality and there’s a beautifully long finish on the palate.
