Loxarel Cora

A delicious (and dry) blend of Muscat and Xarel-lo, the former bringing floral perfume, the latter a bright backbone of acidity. The Cora has a bright, pale-yellow colour. On the nose, it is fresh and fruity, with notes of green apple, citrus, and white flowers. The palate is clean and vibrant, with hints of lime and a long, refreshing finish. Overall, Loxarel Cora is a high-quality, organic wine that is perfect for any occasion. Remarkably drinkable. 

Loxarel is a family run winery and vineyard in Spain they have a small team of workers who control the vineyards and guarantee that each year the grapes fill the bottles without losing the essential characteristics of the territory. The Loxarel cellar was born from the vocation and innovative spirit of Josep Mitjans who, at just 16 years old, made his first 1,000 bottles of sparkling wine, breaking the tradition of bulk production on the estate.

The vineyard also follows a Biodynamic approach which incorporated different rotations of crops carefully thought out and suited to the climate, the mechanical control of weeds, the control of disease through minerals and other plants and the use of manure as a natural fertiliser. Loxarel is part of TerraDinàmica, the only association of biodynamic farming Catalonia legalized since 2008 that promotes, encourages and develops the use of this technique for growing produce.
