Amazing Amarone from the heart of the region
Deep ruby red colour, with a clean, intense and complex aroma of blackberries, plum and cherries jam, balsamic notes and very long finish. Manually harvested, and then Dried. The grapes are macerated and fermented for thirty days and then aged for thirty months in large oak barrels. Will pair well with traditional dishes like risotto, beef, game, horse meat, lamb, veal, rabbit, wild boar and cheese like Parmiggiano Reggiano.
Monte Santoccio is in Fumane, the heart of the Valpolicella area, where grapes are grown to produce outstanding wine. All the traditional grapes varieties are grown here. Namely: Corvina, Corvinone, Rondinella and Molinara. Monte Santoccio are proud to own thier vineyards and all their wines are produced exclusively with their own grapes.
