Pernand-Vergelesses 'Sous le Bois de Noel' Les Parcellaires de Saulx

The grapes sourced for this wine are located beneath the Bois de Noël. The "Les Belles Filles" parcel is at the top of the east-facing steep slopes just next to the Premiers Crus. The terroir consists of lime-rich white marl and iron-rich clays. This combines to make a rich profile full of character that can incorporate the twelve to fifteen months of oak aging that the winemakers put it through.

A perfect option for any lover of oaked Chardonnay or oaky whites in general. Overflowing with a brilliant and radiant straw gold colour. Aromatic and very expressive with a significant complexity, characterised by notes of white flowers and a few mineral hints. In the mouth the wine is initially fresh, silky with an elegant floral character. It is well structured and mellow with flint and fruit aromas, balanced between acidity and woodiness. A balanced wine that would pair well with any poultry or creamy pasta dish.

Les Parcellaires de Saulx is a haute-couture wine company located in Meursault which was created in September 2017 on the foundations of a century-old house of wine located in the same premises. It enjoys a privileged location with an outstanding view over the vineyards of Meursault and Puligny-Montrachet, as it is located at the end of the first of these villages. In addition, it has beautiful and extensive historic cellars that stretch for more than 1500 square metres, which ensure that wines are produced, aged and stored in perfect conditions.
