Proprieta Sperino Rosa del Rosa

This refreshing Italian rose is made primarily from the native grape of Nebbiolo, with a splash of Vespolina, a lesser-known red grape from the Piedmont region in northern Italy.

One of the very first rosés of Alto Piemonte was born as a choice of harvesting the grapes of the areas that due to the problems that an extreme wine-growing area (with hail, cold, etc.) have not reached the perfect maturity for reds, but are ideal for expressing the aromaticity, freshness and flavour of a great rosé.

This blend produces a bright pink colour, and flavours of wild strawberries and spicy cherries dominate, along with a fresh acidity and a mineral character that add complexity. A lovely dry rose!
