Rathfinny Classic Cuvee Brut
Soft and rich classic fizz.
The sprawling Rathfinny estate in Sussex was founded in 2010 by Mark and Sarah Driver, the first vineyards being planted in April 2012. Now covering 93 hectares of south-facing slope just three miles from the sea, free-draining chalk soils provide perfect conditions for sparkling winemaking. The Classic Cuvée is a blend of Pinot Noir, Chardonnay and Meunier, aged for 36 months on the lees for nutty, rich complexity.
Honeyed lemon in colour, with a welcoming nose of red apple skins that gives way to a rich lemon meringue palate with a red berry fruit finish. This versatile wine pairs well with roast chicken, meaty fish like hake and monkfish and eggs benedict
Rathfinny is the first grower-producer of sparkling wine in the world to achieve the B Corp accolade. UK businesses that have achieved B Corp status are exemplars of the gold standard for ethical and sustainable business practices. Verified to high standards of social and environmental performance, transparency and accountability.
