Roberto Sarotto Gavi di Gavi

This zesty and aromatic Gavi di Gavi is well worth it's price tag.

This is a light to medium bodied white from the Gavi DOC in Piedmont, Italy. Made from 100% Cortese grapes, this is an aromatic, refreshing and zesty white wine that has crunchy ripe lime flavours and hints of white flowers. An elegant wine that represents excellent value for money. The wine is aged in stainless steel tanks for two months, then receives a further two months in bottle before release.

The vineyard and winery cover an area of 90 hectares located in the most famous wine-growing areas of Piedmont. The care of the vineyards is one of the family's main objectives and their philosophy that good wine is born in the vineyard and grows in the cellar. Harvesting remains almost entirely manual, but the cellar is equipped with modern technologies to allow the best care of the wines produced in it.
